Diabetes Service - Greenwich

  • The Greenwich Diabetes Service provides comprehensive diabetes care to Greenwich residents. The team includes secondary care colleagues and works closely with the Diabetes Day Centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Our team

The team consists of:

  • A dietitian with advanced knowledge of ethnic food variations
  • An advanced podiatrist
  • A psychologist
  • Diabetes specialist nurses with extensive experience in managing patients with complex needs

Clinics are held in various locations across Greenwich.

The team also runs a patient education group. It covers all aspects of type 2 diabetes and its management. It is aimed at newly diagnosed patients. You can be referred to the group through your GP.

How to access this service

To access this service, you must be:

  • Aged 18 or above
  • Registered with a Greenwich GP. This includes patients living in Nursing care homes and Residential care.
