At Oxleas, we’re celebrating with special staff event, led by our Women’s Network, where we’ll have inspirational talks, special guests and ‘hot seat’ speakers amongst other things.
Azara Mukhtar, Director of Finance and Executive Champion of our Women’s Network, said: “Bias makes it difficult for women to progress, this can be especially true in the workplace. We have to change this, we have to level the playing field, just being aware of bias is not enough, we have to break the bias. International Women’s Day aims to bring us all together to do just that.”
Ify Okocha, Chief Executive, said: “I fully support and encourage everyone to join us in marking this event to celebrate the achievements of women in our society. Anything we can do to rout out bias in all of its forms is very welcome.
